This is the itenerary for 6 days 5 night around Lake Toba, Berastagi, Bukit Lawang and Medan:
- Day 1, pick up from the airport and drive to Parapat via tebing tinggi, stop at paten shop to buy local products as teng teng ting ting, arrive in Parapat ready to take ferry from Ajibata Harbour to cross to Samosir Island (tomok harbour), overnight hotel, Toledo Inn, Samosir Villa, joe'sparadise or similar, relax.
- Day 2, after breakfast ready for Samosir Island tour, visit stone chair at Ambarita Village, visit Batak traditional dance at Simanindo Village, going to Sigarantung hill to see nice view from the top,visit tomok market, back to hotel and relax.
- Day 3, after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Simanindo Harbour and try to take ferry to cross to Tiga rass harbour, and continue drive to Berastagi via Simarjarunjung, and stop at Simarjarunjung restaurant to try bandrek (ginger tea) + fried bananas, visit Rumah Bolon at Pematang Purba, stop at sipiso piso waterfall, visit fruit market in Berastagi, going to Gundaling Hill to see nice view of Mount Sibayak and Sinabung, overnight hotel Grand Mutiara Hotel Resort, Sinabung Resort, Horizon, relax.
- Day 4, after breakfast ready for climb the Sibayak volcano (sunrise is optional) going down to the hotsprings. Continue drive to Bukit Lawang via Pamah Simelir stop at Pamah Simelir top point to see nice view of the padi field, continue drive to Bukit Lawang, arrive in Bukit Lawang overnight hotel Ecolodge, Rindu Alam Hotel, the Heritage Hotel Bukit Lawang or similar.
- Day 5. after breakfast ready to do jungle trekking 1 day trek to see the Orang Utan, Thomas's Leaf Monkey and other wild life, lunch will be provide in the jungle, continue walking to the river and ready for tubing (rafting) back to the hotel, arrive at the hotel, clean up, relax ...enjoy the hotel and the Bukit Lawang village.
- Day 6. breakfast at the hotel and enjoy, check out hotel and continue drive to medan airport, depends what time of your flight schedule then we can have visit to velangkani church, the grand mosque, drop to the airport and tour ends.
